Peel Public Health is reporting 33 newly confirmed cases of coronavirus for the region in their daily update on March 29.
These new reported numbers now bring the total to 187 cases, with a majority of cases — 110 — in Mississauga.
Brampton has the second highest number of cases with 60 and Caledon has 11. Six cases are listed as “pending further information.”

A large portion of cases are impacting those 35- to 64-years-old, with 97 patients confirmed in that age range.
Those aged 18 to 34 are the second most impacted group of patients, with 54 cases in total. Only five cases are reported as being younger than 18-years-old and 31 patients are listed between 65 and older.
As of 10:30 a.m. on March 29, the province is reporting a total of 1,355 cases (including resolved and deceased), an increase of 211 new cases since March 28.
They are also reporting a backlog of 7,200 cases and 21 deceased patients, an increase of two patients since March 28.

The province has not released the breakdown of the new cases, including what public health unit they belong to, state of transmission or age and gender of the patient.
That specific information is currently listed as "pending." The province did not provide this information on March 27 either.
Peel Public Health is reminding the public that it can take around a week for them to receive COVID-19 test results and that anybody who has been tested still needs to self-isolate.
