When there's an emergency on the highway, the heavy lifters are called in — and that team includes Abrams Towing of Windsor.
Abrams is Canada's largest towing fleet, so it's natural it gets called to the biggest emergencies. The towing service has been trusted for roadside assistance and vehicle transport for more than 30 years, and it has earned a solid reputation for reliability during that time.
It's no surprise, then, that when a new television show was being planned about keeping Ontario's 400-series highways safe and clear, drivers from Abrams were approached to give viewers a first-hand look at what goes on during a roadside rescue.
The show is called Heavy Rescue: 401 and will debut soon on Discovery. It follows a variety of emergency crews doing their jobs in all types of weather, and includes three seasoned drivers from Abrams: Dave Stewart, John Allen and Mark Haslett.
Mark, a former investment banker, drives a one-ton tow truck and prides himself on connecting with drivers in need. His role with Abrams gives him the satisfaction in helping people that his old career didn't.
John is a lead operator with Abrams, and runs a 40-ton rotator tow truck for the very heavy lifting jobs. He has earned a solid reputation in the industry, which he has been in for more than 25 years.
Dave is a fleet manager and is responsible for keeping 160 trucks on the road. He maintains the health of the tow trucks, from smaller tows to heavy wreckers!
These experienced employees are just a few of the many experts at Abrams who can help you get back on the road, no matter what the situation. Be sure to watch the show, but if you need assistance on the road, call Abrams for a live demonstration!
