The hardest thing: In rugby sevens, it’s being mentally tough

“Once you know how to tackle it’s fine, once you know how to pass it’s fine, it’s just being consistent when you’re fatigued and you have to keep going.” Canada’s Magali Harvey

“Mental toughness, especially with sevens because it’s only 14 minutes and you have to sprint or run pretty much the whole time. And sometimes you hit a wall and you don’t think you can’t keep going, but you have to keep going because your teammates are counting on you and you don’t want to screw them over. Once you know how to tackle it’s fine, once you know how to pass it’s fine, it’s just being consistent when you’re fatigued and you have to keep going.”
