As part of its continuing strike action plan, members of the Windsor University Faculty Association will stage a half-day work stoppage this morning.
Classes will be cancelled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the University of Windsor campus. They will resume at 1:00 p.m.
In a letter addressed to UWindsor students dated September 5, WUFA announced that rotating half-day strikes would continue until a settlement is reached between the faculty and administration. If a contract deal is not reached by October 1, a full work stoppage would be implemented on a date yet to be announced.
Today's strike would be the second work stoppage since the beginning of the school year. The first was a full-day strike on Monday.
Both sides are set to meet on September 23 with a provincial mediator.
