Classes at the University of Windsor have been cancelled for Monday, September 15 as a result of a planned one-day faculty strike.
The Windsor University Faculty Association announced on September 12 that while they are encouraged by the administration returning to the bargaining table, the one-day strike would go on as planned.
The work stoppage commenced at 8 a.m. and will end at 10 p.m.
Teaching related activities on campus that have been cancelled include classes, laboratories, thesis presentations and many clinical placements in the Nursing program. Librarians will also not be on duty.
Classes at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry will continue as scheduled.
