OurWindsor.Ca

An off-duty Windsor Police officer was arrested entering the United States Saturday following a two-month internal investigation.

The officer is currently awaiting arraignment in the U.S. Court system.

Police Chief Al Frederick will be holding a press conference and providing details of the investigation once the officer has been arraigned. The date and time of the press conference is dependent on the arraignment being completed.

According to a Windsor Police press release, no further details will be released until that time.
