Things to do at the casino without gambling

There are 2,300 gaming machines and eighty-five table and poker games at Caesars Windsor.

But, should you find yourself at the casino and you’re not a gambler, don’t worry. There are things to see and do that don’t include the gaming floor.

1. Concerts & shows

What do rock legends Bachman & Turner, comedians Howie Mandel, Russell Peters and Chris Tucker, country music legend Kenny Rogers, motown legend Smokey Robinson and legendary guitar virtuoso Carlos Santana all have in common?

They have all graced the stage at the Colosseum, along with hundreds of other performers. The 5,000 seat venue is considered top-notch, with state of the art lighting and sound, and great views of the stage from every seat. Upcoming shows include The Tragically Hip, Air Supply, Styx, LeAnn Rimes and the Tenors.

2. Shopping

Looking for a last minute gift?

Caesars may not be the first place that jumps to mind, but with free parking and late hours, it is certainly a good option. Caesars Essentials offers everything from jewellery and Swarovski watches, to candles and clothing, as well as anything you might need if you're staying overnight at the hotel.

The Landau Boutique is a elegant accessory boutique that carries costume, bridal and fashion jewellry you may not find elsewhere.

3. Food

If you want to leave the cooking for someone else, there are a variety of dining experiences at Caesars to satisfy every appetite:

Neros Steakhouse, the Casino's fine dining steakhouse

The Market Buffet, open for both lunch and dinner

Legends, the onsite sports bar

Johnny Rockets, the nostalgia diner

Artist Café, for lighter cafe fare

Taza Mediterranean Grill, offering Lebanese-style dishes

4. Staycation

Looking for a quick night away, but don't have a lot of time to travel?

Consider a staycation in one of Caesars' 758 rooms. With modern decor, deluxe sweets and luxury rooms, it is easy to see why this is Windsor's only AAA Four Diamond hotel. Registered guest who are 19 years of age or older can also take advantage of the indoor pool, gym and spa treatments. (Yes, that means kid-free!).

5. Nightlife

If you still have some energy after a full day, you’ll want to experience Caesars' bars and lounges - Elix Lounge, Bacchus Bar, and Cosmos.

Whether you're looking to just grab a drink with some friends, watching a sports game or dancing the night away to live music, it’s all here.

For a quiet spot, VU Bar has no live entertainment, but it does have the best views of the Detroit skyline in the city.
